Black American Men and African Women?

Usually black americans and africans don't date that much, but I've been seeing a high increase on these datings. I live in Minneapolis, pretty much a Little Somalia, and I see tons of somali women with black guys.. which is odd since I never see african women with black guys. I've honestly seen more of people from east africa willing to date black guys. From what I can tell, these women find black men exotic and bold, and the feelinsg is mutual from the black guys. Also when they marry, they bring over their cultural ties, like the women being submissive to the men. Question is, are africans and black americans finally getting together? what do you african women and black american guys feel about this?
