What's the point of an atheistic life?

from a purely scientific standpoint, there is no such thing as free will, just ridiculously complex interactions between particles, forcing me to write what i am at this very moment. so my question to an atheist would be, can you truly be mad at me for asking the big question, or is your angry response just an uncontrollable impulse due to chemical interactions?
