Do Microsoft Windows run lotteries in conjunction with Yahoo and msn?

I have received an email in My Yahoo mail, supposedly from Yahoo/msn inc and Microsoft Windows stating that I have won their lottery with a prize of �500,000. I have not clicked on the email as I find all mail like this highly suspicious.
