Yeah, it's great! Except for a few strange phrasings which could be easily fixed you have the great beginnings of what could be a wonderful book! However, if you're anything like me (I'm a writer too) you'll get a little farther and then get stuck. Happens all the time for me. But I think that if you can stick with it you'll have a great book on you hands!
